For many people we work with, they don’t know where they stand. While most have a sense of what they do well, not all know what they can do better.

As Jody and I discuss in this episode, one of the lost arts in business today is candidacy. Although we value feedback, we’re often reluctant to give it, hence, why creative criticism and affirmation are worth discussion. Even though we may fear a compromise in harmony if we’re not encouraging improvement, can we honestly say we’re facilitating quality performance?

Whatever approach we employ, relish the opportunity to be sincerely open. If necessary, invite colleagues into the mix. Create a participatory atmosphere. Note themes and tangibly monitor progress. The possibilities are endless, but it’s up to you to engage them.
