On this special episode of Come Rain or Shine, Laura Mae Lindo, an activist and Member of the Provincial Parliament for Kitchener Centre, joins the show to discuss inclusion in education.

With work partly centered on challenging on-campus racism, Laura Mae unpacks the psychology behind communal engagement as a minority. To calibrate subjective expectations, educators should embrace the opportunity to promote objective thinking – a process that requires building relationships and trust over consistent dialogue.

As a Member of the Standing Committee on Regulations and Private Bills, a Critic for Citizenship and Immigration Services, and a Critic for Anti-racism, Laura Mae hopes to inspire increased quality in Canadian political spheres and for those in business to see antiracist work as leadership work.
